Göran Beijer
Rt Revd Göran Beijer (:ˈjœːɾan ˌbejəɾ) (b. 24 March 1940) is a Swedish traditionalist bishop of the independent Mission Province.
Beijer received his theological degree from the University of Uppsala and was ordained to priesthood in Diocese of Visby of the Church of Sweden in 1967. The Middle Eastern Council of Churches sponsored his year-long stay in Beirut, Lebanon, to study the Eastern Churches. He served as parish priest of Saint James's church in Stockholm.
In 2006 Beijer was consecrated as one of the bishops for the Mission Province and he was the Vicar of St. Stephen’s Koinonia in Stockholm until spring 2010. Bishop Beijer belongs to the Catholic movement of the Church of Sweden and his motto is "Gaudete in Domino semper", roughly translated as "Rejoice in the Lord always".
